Miramar Beach

Miramar Beach Goa is a golden stretch of yellow sand situated a kilometer ahead of the intersection point of River Mandovi and the Arabian Sea. The extension of this beach is towards Dona Paula. Bordered with palm trees and number of romantic coves, hotels and shacks, Miramar is one of the sought-after tourist draws in Goa. The soft sand makes it an excellent place for walks in the evening and sunbathing during the daytime. The 2 km long shoreline is a hub of tourist activities. Children play around and couples enjoy its solitude. As the name Miramar implies "watching the sea" in Portuguese, you can have the best glimpse of Arabian Sea and the Aguada Fort from here.

The winter attraction of Miramar Beach is the flock of migratory birds such as gulls. These species return to the beach every year for food, offering a stunning sight.
